If you run your own business, everybody knows you need to have a website, right? At least, that is what has been drilled into our heads over the last several years. Sometimes it seems like we are compelled to dive into getting a website just for the sake of having one. But if you are going to have a website that will promote your business, it needs to have a purpose. You can’t just “have a website” and expect people to come beating down your door.

- Market your site once it’s built and available on the web.
